Slow start for the Phightin' Phils as they win over San Fran last night.  Puts them at an even .500.  They certainly need to start hitting the ball a lot more.

That kid should not have been given a ball. You don't cry to get your way. Of course, now days that's the acceptable way to do things.

Well, we are at game 3 of the World Series.  Boy has it been an amazing postseason this year!

Tigers sweep the Yankees in the ALCS.
Giants come back from being down 1-3 against the Cards (the reigning World Champs) to win the NL Pennant in 7.

Giants club the bejeebers out of the Tigers in the first two games of the series...
Pablo Sandoval hits three out of the park in game 1!
Game 2 in SF was baseball at it's highest level of play!  The 1st inning play at the plate.  The dribbler bunt down the 3rd baseline...  yeah baby!

Off to Motown for game 3 this evening!

Woo Hoo!  Go Giants!

...And the Dolphins have a rookie quarterback who is developing into what we've been waiting for since Dan Marino retired.

Man I love this time of the year; when the MLB and NFL seasons overlap.  Especially when a team I follow is playing for the World Championship!

The beer is in the cooler.  The grill is ready to be fired.  This is going to be an awesome weekend!

Man, the Giants' defense has been bullet-proof behind some great pitching.  It's tough to win when you can't score!

The Tigers are a good team.  Look at what they did to the Yankees.  I'm sure they will be in the thick of it again next year.  (I like any team that can make the Yankees look that bad).

Pretty crazy when the two things we had going for us, power hitting and pitching, went totally cold in the world series. Not the time you want that to happen. I have to believe we'll be right back close next year with Martinez coming back and hopefully figuring out the bullpen.

Congrats to the Giants, they were the better team throughout and it showed in the end.
