Last brew day I set Pandora up with a Umphreys McGee seed.  I got Dead, Phish and all things jammy.

I love me some UM!  Usually set up my iPod and turn it on shuffle until it gets to an album I decide needs to be heard completely.  Most of the time ends up with some Passafire - CHECK THEM OUT!

Cubs games during the baseball season, otherwise I won't listen to anything or if I do listen to music it's some kind of metal.

Can't wait for baseball!  Go Cubs Go!

Satellite radio, classic country to metal depends on my mood. I was seriously pissed when they got rid of the punk rock channel.

Depends on my mood, but there is usually lots of room for the Clash and Joe Strummer.  I think Friday's brew session is might be heavy on ska with generous doses of the Pogues and some Clutch thrown in for good measure.

So, am I the only one who listens to "The Session" while brewing?

I tried to listen to it last Sunday. Didn't work for me. I like music while I brew. I listen to the Session during late night shifts.

+1. I usually listen to the Session while I'm at work. I need to pay attention while I'm brewing.  :D

okay, what is "the session" .  granted, I don't know 90% of what has been listed here either.

Isn't it a Sirius Radio channel.  My Sirius broke, a while ago so I forget.....

The problem that I have with listening to the session or a JZ show, etc is that I miss too much when I go outside to check on the boil, go inside to pee, or grab the fermenter from the basement.

So for yesterday's brew, I jammed some Frank Zappa, Steely Dan, and Umphrey's McGee

I think last time I brewed to Zappa a little too much Cosmic Debris went into my fermenter......  ;)

Not sure, I think for the better......I guess the crux of the biscuit is the Apostrophe(').
