yes but they didn't use the safety harnesses except when they were resting. or working it looks like, once they got to the top.

Yeah, they say at about 1:00 that they "free climb" without safety equipment because it's faster and easier. One good gust of wind though, and it's a long way down. I bet you'd have time to think about all of the steps in your life that lead you to that point like, five times before you hit the ground.

In any case, one thing is certain, once i got up that high, i would totally pee off that tower.

Where else would you pee? It's not like they have a bathroom up there.

I would be fine until I had to make the transition to the outside climbing, i'm not sure if i could do that part. In any case, one thing is certain, once i got up that high, i would totally pee off that tower.

Just make sure you check the wind before relieving yourself.  You still have to climb down.   ;)

They should climb with parachutes so they can jump off when they are done.

Sounds fun but it would be another 40+lbs to carry up with you.  Most employers frown on you base jumping while on the clock too I'd imagine.   ;D

Remember when it came out that Walmart takes out life insurance policies on their employees? I'd bet those climbers net their company a tidy profit when they fall off.

Yeah, Dead Peasant insurance. In highschool I worked for mc... a certain large fast food chain. When I was filling out the paperwork one of the things I signed was a life insurace policy payable to the company. After all, what would they do without me? I mean it's not like you can just grab any jerk of the street to sling burgers... oh right.

Yeah, Dead Peasant insurance.

It's supply and demand. After the Black Death, the middle class blossomed. Too many peasants lowers the value of said peasants.

I was thinking they should wear parachutes in case they fall.  Are parachutes really that heavy?  One slip up and you could go down...man, I had a hard time watching this video.

Now that sounds like fun.  1700' drop on a zip line!  Wow!  I hope the zip line brake works.
