I might try to make an American Wheat on Sunday.  It depends on how the Iowa State Small Group/Solo Vocal and Instrumental Contest goes on Saturday.  My wife and I got tagged to run it again this year at our kids high school site.  I may not have any energy left.  Coordinating 210 volunteers, setup and cleanup makes for a really long day.

Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?

Trying to decide between an American Brown, or an ESB. I'd better decide soon so I can get a starter going.

I'm on my 13th day of 14 hours a day.  No brewing for at least a couple more weeks.

I'm brewing 11 gallons of my House IPA on Saturday.  It's supposed to 71F and sunny...looking forward to a beautiful brewday.  :)
Why do you brew 11 gallons rather than 10?  Do you use 5-gallon Corny kegs or do you bottle?  Or a combination of the two?

I generally aim for 5.5 or 11 gallons because there will be losses to transfer, sampling, trub etc. With an IPA particularly because of the dry hops it's a good idea to plan that extra .5/1 gallon if you want to end up with 5 or 10 gallons.

At least that's why I do it, Don't know about Ron.

No brewing for me.  It is supposed to be nice on Saturday so SWMBO wants to catch up on yard work (meaning: I will be doing the yard work while she watchs the baby) and hopefully transplanting hop my plants to the SE side of the house.

Saturday doing a 5.5 gal Westmalle inspired Belgian Dubbel and a 5.5 gallon "Double" Wit.  The Wit should be like a Grand Cru/Imperial Wit.  More orange in color, a little sweeter and hoppier than a typical belgian wit.

I want to try and brew the Vida Dulce from BYO mar/apr issue.

If not I'll bottle some for a contest and move a few around.
