Anyone brewed with this hop? I've got 6 ounces of it laying around.

I bought a pound of them from my LHBS. I made an all Zythos Pale Ale.
It was either Maris Otter or 2-Row @ 93%, and then about 7% of C40 or C60.
Then I did 60m, 15m, 5m, 1m, 0m for the Zythos....around 55IBU.

I can say that I did like the Zythos hops, but I think next time I will bitter with something different. Chinook, Centennial, Columbus, and then use the Zythos at the end.
I don't think it had a very intense bittering quality that I want in an IPA. I could see it being good in an Amber Ale as bittering.

from what I gathered from the HopUnion website, it had notes of pear. It was more fruit than citrus IMO. I got a bit of citrus from it, but not much.
It surprised me, because the Zythos hops are a proprietary blend of HopUnion...it was supposed to be a blend of hops that were hard to get this year, which I am assuming was Citra, Simcoe, Centennial, Falconer's, etc.
