I froze my Mizer.

I just want to share a few pic of my bulk CO2 tank.
Too much demand will freeze it.

Happy carbonating everyone :)

I've sen propane bottles do that as well. Do you force carb your production beers?

Yes I do. Now I have 450 lb bulk CO2 tank.
300 lb was just too small and could not evaporate fast enough.
I still freeze me new tank from time to time thou.

Are you renting or did you buy the tank? How much does it cost to have it filled?

Some bulk co2 tanks come with a little electric heater that automatically switches on when it starts to freeze. You might want to ask you supplier if that is available.

I hope the regulator is ok, we froze one enough that it broke (pressure testing ~500 cornies after a keg buy).

I know about those.
Those are 600 lb.
I did not "graduate" to that one yet :)

Regulator was fine so no worry there.

That is some extremely cheap co2! I think my per pound is something like $3.80

5Lb=$10
10Lb = $13
20Lb = $15

This is at a fire safety shop.

Bulk CO2 is always cheaper.
I carbonate in bright tank thru carbonation stone (I do not vent).
33F at 12 psi do the job in about a day.
