I won't be brewing on my personal system, but my homebrew club is going to one of our local breweries and doing a combined brew of an Imperial Rye IPA, called Slow Rye'd.

I have to bottle my mild this week as well...

Happy Birthday Drew!

Happy Birthday, Drew!

I think I'll be brewing up a light sort of pale ale to start another generation of yeast to repitch.  All simcoe (only an ounce) pale.

No brewing for me.  There's a football game this weekend so I'll be traveling.

Working once again....2 weeks, 7 days a week, of 14 hour days!  I think I'll have a chance to brew on the 26th or 27th.

Finally got all my ingredients entered into my Beersmith program that I just got for my new iMac and found I have enough of everything on hand to brew an ESB.  So that is what it will be this weekend. :)
What's the worst that could happen?  Beer?

Going to bottle up a Vanilla Porter and Brew a Apricot Pale Ale.  I am pretty excited to see how the pale ale turns out as this will be my first fruit beer and I am using dried apricots.

I would like to get the ingredients together for a cream ale this weekend but I won't have time to make the starter so maybe next weekend. Last weekend I made 11 gallons of a Pliny the Elder clone.  :)

Happy B-Day Drew!

Checking the vanilla flavor in a BVIP, and the Maibock to see if a D-rest is necessary. Making sure I have everything I need to do start a Kolsch next Friday.
