Happy Birthday, Drew!  I wanna brew some spruce beer, since the tips are ready to harvest.  Anyone got a good, tested recipe?

Cheers

It's a kit weekend for me...pinot noir kit Saturday and a Brewer's Best continental pilsner kit Sunday.  Too busy to do a full all-grain batch.

I am brewing a clean out the freezer IPA; 3 oz of Simcoe and 3 oz of Cascades into a 5.5 gallon batch.  That might be a record for me.

I'll be brewing a Sierra Nevada Clone-All grain 15 gallons with my two brew buddies Sunday.  The last couple times we've brewed this recipe our fermentation stopped at about 1.019 but clean, clear and good tasting.  I think we'll sparge at a bit lower temp and see if we can't get the finish a bit dryer.
Looks like a beautiful weekend in the North West!

"Nobody Knows" ale.  Gathering a bunch of leftover grains and hops that have been lying around for a while and brewing something that should resemble an American brown ale.  How will it turn out?  Nobody knows.  ;D

Nuttin' fer me this weekend.  Czech Pils is next, though, but not for a few weeks yet, lagerator is full.  Happy boithday, Drew.

It looks like I may be able to fit in a Berliner Weisse tomorrow.

Taking a break this weekend since I have a Vienna fermenting away in my lagerator, I will be kegging a Northern Brown (I used White Labs Dry English instead of WYeast British thinking they were the same strain, but clearly were not, so I mashed a little warmer), planning my Czech Pilsner and sampling my recent APA and IPAs (both recipes experimental).

In other words; I wish that I was brewing :D

Thanks. we'll see how it goes. The more I read, the more mistakes I seem to have made lol. It was a blast and I can't wait for the next brew.
