It feels expensive.

Aren't CTZ and Mt. Hood among the cheaper hops?

I get CTZ for around $5/lb so, yeah. I guess not that expensive. I never brewed the beer before so I have no idea what hops are in it.

7 lb. Columbus at 60
2 lb. 6 oz. Mt. Hood at 30
4 3/4 lb. Mt. Hood at 0

;D Not if he didn't pay for it!  :P

Grain was donated by Great Western.  We used their OR Select pale malt, grown here in OR.  Hops were donated by HopUnion.

Hehe, at homebrew prices that's like $500-600 in hops.  :o

Reading John's T-Shirt, I think he is a Super-Hero! "Call Hopman, we need to add more hops!"

That had to be a fun day.

It was a great day...everything went very smoothly.  The only downside was that Tom and I had to get up at 3:30 AM to be in PDX ready to brew by 7!

Way cool.  Look forward to having at NHC.

Hey, Dan, please make sure to find me there.  I'd love to finally meet you in person.

You going to be at club night?  Normally I man the booth, serve beer and chat it up (my favorite parts) but since most of our club members didn't sign up in time, we won't have a booth this year.  I'm going to be doing plenty of wandering and will try and find you though.  Will be great meeting you.   :)

Yes, it was indeed a fun day.  I was glad to have had the opportunity to participate.

Yeah, our club is swerving at club night.  Look for a booth that looks like Ken Kesey's bus!

That depends on who we let drive the bus.
