Read a lot of the comments from the original article. Not knowing the law in Tennessee, I can only speculate that it isn't legal for AB to walk into a private business and remove/confiscate anything from that place without permission or court order. Their name stamped on the side does not automatically give them the right to take control of the keg or its contents. That said, the small brewer who bought those kegs from a secondary market does not have a legal claim to stolen property even if he believes he bought it 'fair and square'. The fact that legal authorities were not brought into this is troubling. If this small brewer can't afford to buy kegs maybe he should consider leasing them from someone who is LEGALLY providing them to him.
