Moon Dance - Van Morrison

Moonage Daydream - David Bowie

Not sure if this one adheres to the rules since Moonage is technically one word.  Moondance is also one word though...

I'm a Believer -- Monkees

That's a cover of a Neil Diamond song. I don't think the Monkees wrote any songs, but I'm hardly a Monkees connoisseur so I could be wrong.

Neil Diamond wrote the song.  The Monkees sang the song.  Later on Neil started singing it...Followed by Eddie Murphy/Donkey :P

To the wikipedias! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Diamond
"There is a popular misconception that Diamond wrote and composed these songs specifically for the made-for-TV quartet. In reality, Diamond had written and recorded these songs for himself, but the cover versions were released before his own." - From an interview with Johnathan Ross.

tell me ma- Juice of the barley
“Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drank, I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn’t drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, “It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.
