Anyone use a Coolbot for their AC controller  http://storeitcold.com/index.php  ?  Seems pretty expensive.

Re-route the AC's temperature probe to outside the unit (instead of the air intake area).  It would then always read warmer than inside the chamber, hence your controller would then control the AC.

Why not use a fridge or upright freezer?

I'm currently in the market for a used upright freezer for my conical. It seems like the most cost effective means of temp control. I'll use a Johnson controller in support.

I fit my 27 gal Blichmann in a fridge. I just had to cut the rear leg down 6.8" for the compressor. Works great.
