Orlando??
« on: May 01, 2012, 07:36:48 am »
I'm headed to Orlando this weekend. I've looked online and found a couple of breweries but are there any bars, beers or breweries that I should make sure to visit/drink while I'm in the area.
Thanks

try wobusa.com and redlightredlightbeerparlour.com.

world of beers is pretty good.  they don't serve food but you can get take out and have it there.

haven't been to redlight yet but plan on it when i visit my folks in june.  I've heard very good things though.
cheers.

RedlightRedlight is a very good, small craft beer bar with excellent selections.  Also try the Shipyard Emporium in Winter Park and Ravenous Pig.  The Central Florida Homebrew Club meeting is Sunday evening at Rossi's Pizza.  You find lots of good beer there.

I'm taking the family to Orlando for a week, splitting my time between Disney and Universal.  Any recommendations for finding good beer & food in those areas?  Needs to be a family-friendly environment.

Anyone been to Celebration Town Tavern

What about Miller's Orlando Ale House

There's a Gordon Biersch brewpub on Boardwalk at Disney.

There's a Big River Grille & Brewing Works.  Is that what you meant?
