anyone build a place to brew?

me and my buddy where just discussing when we move to baltimore we might want to invest in building our own brew shed (in case we dont have a basement)
when in rome we shall do as the romans.  When in hell we'll take shots at the bar

Didn't build a place but when I bought my house several years ago brewing in it was a consideration.

I didn't build from the ground up, but I did extensive remodeling to a garage/shed to make it a place to brew.  AFAIC, the biggest improvement was putting in a floor drain.

BTW, depending upon the county you wind up in.
Sheds greater than 100 sq. ft. require a permit before construction.
