Is there anyway to make pictures bigger than 300*225? I think limits are good to prevent massive photos but that is a pretty small default.

At least double: 600x450

I would also consider not having a limit at all or limiting it to the maximum without breaking the formatting of the forum template.

I've set it currently to 600x400 for now. More disucssion amongst the admins first before other changes.

On the forums I administer I have pic resolution set at 800x600 but 600x450 would work as well. I have to agree with the OP though. Some of the pics posted were pretty tough to see.

I am with the OP, the image size should increase to standard forum size 640 x 480 , homebrewers are the visual type. Otherwise I love the format and concept.

You get more storage than that on a USB memory stick!  I had one of the first computer based recording studios in the US.  I looked all over for the biggest HD I could find.  I ended up with a 212 MB drive that I paid $1500 for!

I bought my first personal computer when I was only 27...  in the fall of 1977, TRS80 Model 1 Level 1
I started working with computers when I was 18, 1968.  That was a very large system that was bugraded from 64k to 256k of core storage.

I started working with computers when I was in 7th grade, which would have been about 1965.  A company in town had an IBM 360 mainframe and we got a card punch from them for a dedicated group of geeks in my geometery class.  Programmed in Fortran using punch cards.  They'd run our programs at night, during the down time at the company.  Took a week or so to get the results back, then you'd have to punch new cards to correct your mistakes, wait another week, etc.  I tell people that back in those days we used steam powered computers and you also had to keep feeding the boiler.
