Manhattan used barrels

So at work we aged some manhattans in a new charred barrel. I could grab one and use it for beer. So what effect will the sweet vermouth have on a beer?

I'm not sure what you're asking. It will change the flavor . . . what other effect are you worried about?

I guess I am asking, How much do you think the sweet vermouth will come through? Would it be worth it to try and use the barrel?

It's just a 10L barrel. And we used Redemption Rye and Cocchi Di Torino sweet vermouth.

Nice. A rye Manhattan is the best Manhattan.
FWIW, I've noticed that adding whiskey to beer adds sweetness. You'll likely pick up some of that re-using the barrel so keep that in mind.
