Experience with Kegco Kegerator and/or BeverageFactory.com?
« on: August 31, 2012, 07:48:33 am »
Looking at getting a kegerator. Don't have the time or inclination to DIY. I'd like to get something that I can order to my configuration and have it arrive and just work. I'm looking at this model from BeverageFactory.com:

http://www.beveragefactory.com/draftbeer/kegerators/dualkegerator/Kegco_K209B-2_dual_faucet_kegerator.html

Does anyone have any experience with this model? Any feedback on buying from BeverageFactory.com would also be appreciated.

Thanks.

Nothing to say about the kegerator, but I've had good experience with Beverage Factory.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

Wow...what great timing with this thread.  I was just looking at Beverage Factory today.  I can get two Perlick 525SS faucets for about $50 shipped, using their 2 tap custom setup and just select the faucets.

Cool. Thanks for the feedback. Think I'm going to put the order in after the weekend's over.

I bought 4 Perlicks from them and other stuff.  Good service and pricing.

I purchased a kegerator from them about 4 years ago and was very happy with their service.

Ordered the kegerator from them today.  Staff was very helpful on the phone, going through the options and what I'd really need.  Looking forward to getting the unit and getting it set up.

Will post an update when it's delivered and I get it set up.

Congrats.  Problem I feel with ordering something like that online is the shipping cost is quite a lot. It's a hundred dollars or more to ship one of those kegerators.

Yes, but time (and gas) to drive around and find what I want locally, and have it customized the way I want it, is going to get me pretty close to break even. That's without factoring in the sales tax differential.

The tower is air cool but I do not see any blower that direct cold air to the tower.
