That moment when...

Just had that moment when you just closed the top on a hour long mash, started doing dishes and notice your mash tun filter/screen in the dish rack.  DANGER WILL ROBINSON, DANGER!

Thanks for the chuckle this morning.  :)

I've never done that but have had equally frustrating experiences on brew day.  I'm sure you wanted to transfer the mash to a bucket and back anyway, right?

Oh yes, that is what happened! Had to boil some water to bring it back to temp but it all worked out. Well except for I am now out of propane but that is an easy walk down the street.
