I don't know how fast the annoucement will be, but given that all the votes were online this year - it shouldn't be long.

They can't hold things off until the conference because the new members of the GC have to make their plans to be there. (Weds afternoon at the conference is the annual Governing Committee Face to Face meeting.)

I think it reality its more about preventing Chicago style electioneering, but I say if the undead want to have a voice, they should!
