Are these 2 refractometer the same model?
« on: November 09, 2012, 08:26:20 pm »
I wanted Northern Brewer's refractometer but it's out of stock for c. 3 more weeks:

http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/brix-specific-gravity-refractometer-w-atc.html

Does anyone know whether morebeer.com's refractometer: http://morebeer.com/view_product/18739 is the exact same model?

If not, is there a place I can buy it?

Many thanks!

Wherein the plethora of choice becomes confusing, difficult to separate one model from the 180 others. Any specific recommednations please?

Thank you.

They're all essentially the same. This is the model I have, from the same seller: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brix-Refractometer-0-32-Fruit-Juice-Wine-Sugar-Content-Beer-CNC-Brew-ATC-/360506442028?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53efdbc12c

I took the ebay advice.  You should too.  I got one similar to the NB one for less than 1/2 the price direct from the little kids in China that made it.
