a Mayan Imperial Stout (with dark chocolate, chili peppers, cinnamon, etc). Not sure of the name, maybe Out of Time or Post-Apocolyptic Imperial Stout (PAIS - inspired by the last name of David Pais, a good friend).

Mark,

I brewed a beer like that earlier this year and named it Apocalypse Cacao. :)

Why not call it Hunahpu's or some other unpronounceable name?

Got some fresh Columbus and Mt. Hood from Fresh Hops, so I am going to finally brew Denny's Rye IPA. I will hopefully brew a Baltic Porter as well, but that may be put on hold for a week or two. Looking to bottle my Mosiac Pale Ale, and keg the latest landlord clone.

No brewing this weekend. Kegging an IPA which I'm dry hopping with cascade and chinook hops. I'm also going to bottle some various beers for father in law (he'll drink anything that's free) and brother in law. WIll be a much easier task when I get the beer gun which I dropped several hints.

Merry Christmas everybody!

I may brew a Belgian Blonde on 12/22.  Hitting the road to mom's on 12/23, so no brewing until after the holidays if it doesn't get done this weekend.

No brewing.  Mom's hip went out on her.  Will be going up early. :P

I have a Scottish 60/- going right now.  Its actually a Midwest Supplies kit that I got when they were having a sale on equipment kits.  It had some maltodextrin, brown sugar and oak chips.  I'm looking forward to it.  The Scottish styles are one where I actually think the caramelly sweet flavor of LME fits nicely.

Getting the yeast today for an oatmeal stout. First brew since mid-July... I knew there would be a hiatus, the longest since I began brewing in January 2009.  Missed it! Glad I cleaned everything well the last time!

I'm brewing a Belgian strong dark on Monday - just pilsner malt and D-180.

Sunday, I'll be kegging a Belgian strong wheat and bottling a few 22s of DVBIP for my co-workers.

Finally bottled my Snow Eater Winter Warmer using homegrown Chinook hops. May fit in a quick extract batch too.

Brewed up a good ole' American Stout today. A complex malt bill with about 50 IBU's and an OG=1.068. Should be good. Smelled like heaven in the brewery today! :)

I will be kegging a couple of previous batches Sunday, an 80/- and a Timothy Taylor try, transferring a German pils out of primary either to keg or to secondary and on Christmas Eve Day brewing a MaiBock.

Was a great brewing weekend - 25 gallons of wonderful libations fermenting away.  Something about the smell of orange blossom mead that is breathtaking - it's gonna be a long year or so!
