I read about this a while ago. They really want Corona as a way to expand their sales numbers (since their own brands are slipping). They already own 50% of Modelo as it is. There's more analysis in the piece he linked to

i also noticed that goose island 312 (chicago area code) is now brewed in new york

I heard from a very good source that all of their regular lineup is now brewed at Budweiser breweries and that they're taking them national soon. They're only doing their Belgians and barrel aged stuff in Chicago.

i bought a 6'er of honkers ale here in nebr and it was brewed in n.y. bummer.my daughter lives in chicago and i am hoping that when she comes home for christmas she will bring me a 4 pk of bourbon county stout
