PBW in corny kegs
« on: July 14, 2014, 11:30:38 AM »
Is leaving PBW (or even Star San for that matter) in my corny kegs for weeks a problem?  I'm curious if long exposure to PBW might be bad for it but can't find any info on it.

I've left PBW in Cornies for extended periods (several days to a couple weeks) - no worries.

One of the 2 substances mentioned ate part of one of the grommets on my ferm lid.  If you use orings made out of the same substance(black rubber) you may want to check them after storing, but otherwise a corny should be a great way to store both.
