Dry Hopping w/ Simcoe + Amarillo
« on: January 08, 2013, 12:50:39 pm »
If I dry hop with 1oz Simcoe, and 1oz Amarillo, will the Amarillo have a detectable presence given the pungency of the Simcoe?

My favorite hop combo.  If you have the ability to try Stone's Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA, do.  That is all late and dry-hopped simcoe and amarillo 50:50.

yes - favorite hop combo (though I often like a little Citra or Columbus in there as well 2:2:1).

If you can, I'd maybe go with 3oz total per 5gal.

And hoser is right on SSR is a great example of that hop combo!
