Well NYC has been stuck on 123 of 750 for quite a while so maybe no one is getting entries in.  I have one in NYC and I'd hate for it to sell out when I have a few more to enter and can't enter another region.

Still stuck on 123, and I am not able to sit around waiting for this to clear up...  would be nice if they would shut it down, reset it, and let us all have another go at when they are ready, even if it takes a week or so...

Maybe we should take to the Tweets in protest with the phrase: "National #Homebrew Competition" to get some attention.

Worst of all is that I am more of a 'take action' guy then a 'b!tch" about it, but AHA has failed me twice... and wasted my time in the processes.

Atlanta is stck at 47 of 750 entries have been logged for this region.

The Seattle region has been showing 45 entries for at least 20 minutes. Either no-one is getting entries through, or the software is just completely crashed.

OK, 503 error now over and over.  At least some people in Ohio were able to get thru - registered 154 entries.
It took me forever to find the link to register on the AHA site. The sites are supposed to be links but don't work.

It's nice the AHA is enjoying a surge of popularity, I understand it has not always been that way.

There seem to be a lot of problems registering for the competition this year, that is unfortunate.

Lets see... With 11 sites projecting 750 entries each @ $12.  You can solve a lot of problems with $99,000.

Not enough server power / bandwidth to deal with all the connections at once. If this is hosted they need to get more processors, and memory added quick.

I doubt it's a server issue. The 503 response has been coming back in a reasonable amount of time. I think they just didn't set the simultaneous database connections to anywhere NEAR where it needed to be.

Denver is up now, and almost half full after being accessible for only something like 10 minutes.

Pages seem to be responding faster, but I'm still getting the same error when I try to register on the Milwaukee site.   Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /data/vhost1/www.brewingcompetition.com/deploy/html/region8/sections/register.sec.php on line 398   Didn't the AHA test any of this before going live? I must say I'm very disappointed in the way the AHA handled this entire process.
