Rule #1: In my brewhouse its Rush. All Rush, all the time. No exceptions.

:)

I can get behind this. I think I could spend an entire brew day with YYZ and La Villa Strangiato on endless loop.

But you have to be using WY2112...

The senior brewer makes us listen to Tom Petty, when up to me it is Jackson Browne and Annie Lennox.

Hopefully I don't need to be brewing a Miller Chill to listen to Limelight while brewing.  If so, I may just stick to Fly By Night so I can brew a Lunar Ale clone.

I first saw Rush in 1984.

It is all about Rush too.  ;D

As a Canadian, I'm ashamed to say I've never seen Rush live.  That has to change soon!!!!

Test for Echo '97, Vapor Trails '02(I think), 30th Anniversary '04, Snakes and Arrows '07, Time Machine Tour '10(I think), Clockwork Angels '12....Unfortunately, I won't catch them on their extended tour this summer :(   Neil's drum solo is always worth the price of admission.

Like beer, music is all situational for me, often seasonal.

Spring and Summer- IPA, kolsch, wheat beers, saisons, various fruit beers. Music: electronic, jazz, groove, reggae, latin

Fall and Winter- Brown ales, porters and stouts, barleywines and generally darker, full-bodied beers. Music: metal, classical, NPR news, more jazz

Beer is like music. I don't have a favorite. I'll take a well-made example of any style!

Today I brewed an American lager to hank Williams Sr, and brewing a bohemian lager now to queen. Music is as important to the spirit of the brew as any other ingredient.

Anything Joe Bonamassa, Gary Moore, or classic blues.

Usually its the sound of another beer getting poured into my glass.  But, I'm with gym rat, love the blues.
