happy pi day!

I was actually eating apple pie with a math teacher, who was wearing a tie with a pi symbol on it, when he missed his pie hole and got pie on his pi tie at 1:59:26 pm! Best pi day ever!

Sitting in our tasting room with two young teachers on Monday. The young lady (Math teacher) she wanted to have a child on 3-14-15. I asked her "boyfriend" how he felt about it. He told me they would circle around to that arrangement.

Tell her boyfriend he should probably round up another year. No wonder our kids can't do math these days  :P

I made sliced sweet potato for Pie Day!

It's not a popularity contest, it's beer!

We made quiche for lunch with peach pie for dessert and had pizza for supper on Pi Day.

My wife teaches Algebra, my daughter teaches chemistry, another daughter is about to graduate with a chem degree, my youngest daughter is studying electronics engineering, my son (the oldest) is a Civil Engineer and I'm an IT guy.  don't come visit if you don't like math jokes.   ;D

We also try to celebrate 'Towel Day' but very few people get that joke.

Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?

My wife's birthday is May 25 so that takes precedence over any other celebrations. It's nice when Memorial Day falls on that day and she gets a holiday, but that doesn't happen very often.
