I figure its probably getting about that time somewhere across America though.  If you've got any pics of young starts you know everybody is going to want to see them, especially after this winter.

Supposed to be beautiful weather tomorrow and I've got to get out and work on mine, so I'll snap some pics.

I shoveled snow again today.  Now were are getting more from the NE, wich means it is wet heavy stuff off of Lake Huron.

Looks like it might be a long time until spring here.  Will be looking at pictures of 3 ft. high hops before mine poke through the ground.  Though some have it worse, I shouldn't complain.

I checked on mine yesterday, nothing yet. I do however have chives growing, never seen them this early. We have had the mildest winter I can remember here in the Northern Rockies. The temps have been in the 50's in the day, make me want to start gardening.

I used 7 ounces of homegrown 2009 Centennial this weekend,
and had to pour it out into a bowl for easy additions.

Cheers to spring!  March is here, and the snow is melting.

To hold you over, here was last years Cascade harvest from my neighbors bines.  He does not want the hops, so I get to keep what we pick.

Hehe, that actually used to be a snazzy bamboo salad bowl,
but now it is cracked, and only is good for dry goods.....mmm hops...

I think you should set up a garden at your place blatz

My Centennial have grown continually for a year now, cut back once to the ground, and are back to the top. The frost we got seems to have affected them, but it might be time to cut them all the way down and let them grow again.

I'd be cautious using chicken manure... it will burn a lot of plants, especially young starts if you put it on too heavy.

I think you should set up a garden at your place blatz 

maybe in my next house.  right now, I can throw a 1/2bbl keg from one side of my fence to the other.  though I could easily grow some at my inlaws house as they have a lot of land.

plus, I've always heard the 90-100df heat in the summer plus the humidity are terrible growing conditions?
