amazing brew day
« on: April 21, 2013, 07:12:24 pm »
I just got home from my buddy's place. we brewed 3 5 gallon batches today. his rye cream ale, our big hoppy dark ale(in the vain of sublimely self righteous) and my bubblegum head clone.

we had ups, we had some downs, we missed some numbers and we had lots of fun. we learned lots about his new(used) brewing rig. we had a couple good beers and I killed it grilling some buffalo steaks.

it was a pretty rad day and I just wanted to share the bliss.

have a great week everybody.

That does sound fun. I haven't had one of those days in a long time. I brew inside now at the place I'm currently living. Someday, I'll live in a place where I can brew in a garage again, have friends over, grill, drink beers, listen to tunes...someday. But for now, I'm pretty happy doing 4 gallon batches inside on the stove.
Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like a blast !  I used to have some brew days like that with a friend. +1 to buffalo steaks - very good if they're cooked right (ie., not overcooked, and on charcoal).
