A half-dozen members of the Bay Pointe brewers club bottled the stuff in late March, after taking a class at Olympic Brewing Supplies of Bremerton. On Tuesday, they got the first sip of their creation and shared it with fellow residents. “It’s got an unusual taste,” said Al Cook, one of those with a hand in the process.

Very cool, but it sounds like it was a little much for most of them. Of course, that would make it just right for you and me!

LOL. Plus, I'm sure it was one Bill's (Olympic Brewing Supplies) easy extract kits.
30 years, and I'll go help them.

I wonder how the 100 gal/person up to 200 gal/household rule will hold up in a retirement home? By apartment or by front door?

I'd say this is an important consideration! When searching for a house brewing in it was figured into my criteria.

You got to love the comments, "heavy", "unusual", "bitter", give me some of that. Poor Corona guy will have a hard time adapting.
