It's not a popularity contest, it's beer!

I read an article about this very practice a couple of months ago.  Big macros trying to make themselves look craft.
What's the worst that could happen?  Beer?

MillerCoors appears about 5 times in the legal copy, though.  They might be shooting themselves in the foot here  :) Of course, for anyone who likes blue moon this could be a positive brand association.

I think the $5 off of PRODUCE is the funny part.  Kind of like the Publishers Clearing House "No Purchase Necessary" to enter (as required by law), except that all of their ads imply that you'll have a better chance to win if you buy magazines.  They've had to settle claims with the justice department multiple times over that.

If BMC actually put out some real effort, it would be one thing.  I've always heard these stories about some of the amazing beers they have their brewmasters make for conferences and trade shows , beers on a par with anything. So why not sell some, instead of passing off apple flavored "malt beverages" and half-ass amber lagers as craft? There are so many craft beer nerds out there that I can't believe they're selling much of that swill.

That apple ale is some pretty nasty stuff!  I would use the coupon for blue moon that's about it

It's actually a rebate coupon for a produce purchase.

At one time I was a fanboy of the Blue Moon Pale Moon. Then they started calling it Blue Moon Belgian-Style Pale Ale and it changed.

Recently I noticed they have renamed it again and are calling it Rounder.

The alcohol has gone up 0.2%, but otherwise looks like the BSPA to me.

I get the apple, lemon, and orange - but what's with the nuts? Is third shift nutty?

I was actually wondering if nuts are really classified as produce?

Well, they are a plant product and food. Produce doesn't have a scientific definition.
