I am in Philadelphia now.  Already knocked out two new breweries (yards and evil genius) that I have had at least one beer from. Any place I should stop by, and/or anyone else drinking nearby?

Nodding Head is within walking distance.  The owner is the keynote speaker.

I would go to Tired Hands in Ardmore. They are doing the best stuff near Philly right now.

Don't have a car, so I probably won't be visiting too many breweries on this trip. I visited nodding head last night, pretty good.  The beer bar in reading terminal market is probably going to be a favorite.

This will be my fourth NHC--it's so much fun!  Unfortunately, my job situation will only allow me to get away for Thursday-Saturday; would have liked to get away for a few more days to see Philadelphia!
I have an extra Friday-Saturday registration--when I purchased in February, I thought my son would be able to go along.  But, his job situation won't allow (and didn't find out until a week ago).  I'd like to sell this for $200; please reply if you or a friend would like to attend.  Surely someone in PA/NJ/DE would like to go! I may also have an extra banquet ticket ($50)

There are several really nice "gastro pubs" in Philly.  My two favorites are Standard Tap and Memphis Tap House.  Both serve mostly local beers and great food.  Next door to Standard Tap is a good beer store, too.
It's a short cab ride from Center City to Fishtown and Northern Liberties, but worth it.
Oh, and Kraftwork is also very good.

We do have a room! It's one of the ballrooms even, so break out some beers and make sure we have everything we need to have some fun. I'm trying to secure some signage to make it more apparent.

Hey folks. any idea when we are going to try to make this meetup happen? I'm starting my final planning and my wife would like to know when I will be MIA.

Well, crap....sometimes life interferes with beer.  My mom passed away this morning so I'll be spending the week in the beer wasteland of Phoenix.  Wish I could be there with you all, but that's the way things go.

Yes to that.  My wife and I are completely out of parents.

Thanks, all.

Know what you mean, Jeff.  My father in law died Memorial Day.  My mom was the last parent between us.
