At Monks Cafe right now. Philly is a good venue. Except for rush hour traffic.

Jealous.  Will be driving up tomorrow around noon.

Flying in tomorrow afternoon. What's the best way to get from the airport to downtown? Train? Cab?

The train is $7, leaves every half-hour and stops a block or two from the hotel. So that's what I'm doing.

Te SEPTA train stops between the gate and baggage claim.  Just go down the steps and wait for it.  If there's no time to buy a ticket at the machine, the conductor will sell you one.  Get off at Market East.

Market East is right below the convention center.  The hotel is up Market Street a block from that.  Reading Terminal Market is across the street from the hotel.

Rush hour traffic is no fun anywhere in a big city, but Philly is nowhere near as bad as LA or NYC.

I should have driven down yesterday!  I'm about 35 minutes away in Valley Forge.  If you have a car and want to get some history in, it's a great place.  Just do it late mid morning-mid afternoon.  Traffic on the Schuylkill (I76) can be a b****.  But, like Red said, nothing like LA or NYC.

See you guys tomorrow.

Looking forward to meeting in person Mort!  I just made my arrangements to get to the train tomorrow at Noon so I should be there for the opening sessions.

Huntsville > Nashville > Atlanta > Philly?

Jeeze - it'd be easier just to walk there Keith!   :o

Yeah, sitting in ATL drinking sweetwater IPA (meh) on 2 hour layover. Beats driving 13 hours though.

Plus family and I were vacationing in tenn so I spend the night in Nashville last night. So it's really been Huntsville to Memphis to Nashville to ATL and soon to Philly. ;)
