Greetings Current and Aspiring BJCP judges!

You are cordially invited to judge the 17th annual NJ State Fair Homebrew Competition on Sat. July 27th at 8:30 am, in beautiful Augusta, NJ.   This is the longest running sanctioned homebrew competition in the state of N.J. and with the increase in popularity of home brewing we will be expanding the number of entries.

This year we are improving our hospitality, offering a hot breakfast, delicious lunch and post judging extravaganza with more food and beer.  Our prize wranglers have been hard at work collecting some great swag for the judges’ raffle.
 
Judges may bring their pre-registered entries with them. All entries must be in the building at 8:15 am in order to be included in the judging queue.

Judging will take place in the Administration Building of the Fairground, easily located about ¾ of a mile off Route 206 on Plains Road. The venue is comfortable, air conditioned and spacious with plenty of natural and artificial light.  Unlimited parking is available right outside the doors. For those traveling by GPS the address is:

For those who would like overnight accommodations, the preferred hotel is Holiday Inn Express in Newton, NJ.  Special Fairgrounds discount rates can be requested by calling 973-940-8888 or 1-888-465-4329 or visiting the website www.ing.com/holidayinnexpress/hotels/us.  Some of our members are willing to assist with local transportation needs.
