Polycarbonate Hydrometers
« on: June 25, 2013, 12:43:52 pm »
I hate broken hydrometers.
Has anyone seen a better price on the polycarbonate hydrometers than this:http://www.labdepotinc.com/Product_Details~id~482~pid~60594.aspx?

Love the idea. ~70 bucks seems to be the going rate. I don't know, I just googled and then visited a half-dozen sites. It's a tough sell at that price, though I've probably spent that much in broken ones over the years. I'll keep looking now that I know there're out there. Thanks for putting this out there.

Just buy two glass hydrometers.  If you've got a spare one, you'll never break the first.  If you only have one, it's guaranteed to break.

At least that's how it always seems to work for me :)
