Blue Moon does Flanders Red?
« on: June 16, 2013, 07:19:13 am »

I didn't try it because I didn't want to buy a six pack on the assumption that it won't be very good.  But if I see a single somewhere I'll probably pick it up just for the experience.

Don't buy it expecting it to be a Flanders red. It is not and the bottle doesn't say so either. It says "blended with Flanders red". It is a decent wheat beer with a tart Flanders note.

I passed it thinking it was Strawberry, perhaps I'll take a closer look.
It's not a popularity contest, it's beer!

Funny, the shop I bought it at had it listed as strawberry in their checkout system. You're not the only one.
