Is anybody else having trouble logging in? I keep getting an "invalid username/password" error despite closing and reloading the app.

Tried that, no luck.

So what exactly is supposed to happen?

The Zymurgy app showed up at the App Store yesterday? so I downloaded it.

I was able to download it to my iPad 2 with OS 6.1.3 and my iPhone 4S which has the a OS version.

I can login fine and the nice icons of past issues of Zymurgy show up.

I select one of those issues, usually the most recent one, and the download spinning gear pops up and spins and spins and...spins. Eventually it stops. The issue of Zymurgy is nowhere to be found. Is it supposed to show up in one of the ebook readers? I looked in iBooks but it was not there.

I've tried this with both the iPad and the iPhone with the same results.

Am I doing something wrong? I don't really see how I could be but...

At this point I am seriously underwhelmed by the new app.

Am I alone in this?

Oh well....

I seem to be getting stuck at the app intro screen.  I'll have to try a better network connection.

The issue you just downloaded is right where it was before you downloaded it, in the display of available issues.  The "Download" banner that was across the front of it is gone and the issue is available for reading.

I thought that might be the case but it does not seem to be happening. After the downloading stops the download banner is still there and all of the issue icons are locked up (i.e. don't respond in any way when tapped) until I turn the iPad off and on.

The downloading takes awhile so the iPad goes to sleep. I noticed that it seems that whenever the iPad is "awakened" while downloading Zymurgy the download stops shortly thereafter. I wonder if perhaps the issues are simply not finished downloading when I check on the progress. About how big are these files we're downloading anyways?

Perhaps tonight I will start the download up before going to bed and let things run hopefully to completion.  I hope this will resolve the issue but....

Thanks for the help.

I really don't know how big the files are.  I didn't time my d/l but I'd guess it took between 5-10 min.  Maybe you should adjust your sleep settings when you d/l?
