Chicago Fundraiser - Kegs for Kids 2013 - September 8
« on: August 22, 2013, 10:59:43 am »

If you're in Chicago this is a great beer event and raises money for the local school.

Michael and Louise from the Hop Leaf put together an impressive selection of beers and there is always great food and a solid silent auction.  IMO, the ticket price is a bargain for what you get.

Proceeds benefit the Helen C. Peirce Elementary School and have allowed us to fund or contribute to items such as new lockers, a new science lab, technology upgrades, a leveled reading room, and others.

I'll drink one or two for you.  But I have to be restrained, as I'll be working the event.
