the best bombers you can get?
« on: July 24, 2013, 11:27:20 pm »
So my boss at work (small liquor store) is tasking with me finding new bombers for up to three 3 new shelves (27 beers and maybe more)
what are some must have bombers?
i have my ideas for some local ones and others i have had and/or heard of.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
“Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drank, I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn’t drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, “It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.

Good luck finding that! It took me two cities worth of looking to get my little stash of 5 bottles going.

All of Boulevard's Smokestack Series is excellent though.

Really! There are a couple of places it is always in stock at around here. I feel a little bit more pride in my town today.

That's cause they just don't know.  ;D

KC sold out in hours. StL sold out within 2 weeks, I think. Either way, I got my stash!  8)

Local is best - and in CO, you shouldn't have any issues stocking the shelves with beer from the area. I'm assuming the shelves aren't refrigerated?

CO:
Odell (Cellar Series/Woodcut Series)
Avery
Great Divide (YETI)
Funkwerks
New Belgium
Wynkoop
Breckenridge
Crooked Stave
Boulder

You can also go a bit west:
Rogue
Firestone Walker (Walkers Reserve, Parabola, Anny releases)
Green Flash (Double Stout)
Ninkasi
Deschutes
Sierra Nevada (Ovila)
Anchor (Zymaster Series, Small Beer)
Stone (IRS, Smoked Porter, Old Guardian, Special Releases)
Lost Abbey
The Bruery
Bear Republic

Imports Schmimports (unless you can grab up some Cantillon)

the shelves would be refrigerated. No room in the store for a "warm" display
