Amarillo-Centennial-Galaxy IPA on tap at my house.
Does anyone else happen to have any IPA ready for the occasion?  ;)

I have several ready.  Unfortunately, due to my work schedule, I won't be able to drink any of them for the next week.

I have a DIPA still fermenting and nothing IPA related in the kegerator, so I had the wife pick me up a six pack of Torpedo yesterday.

I have an IPA about ready to bottle :(

I did pick up a bomber of Ballast Point Sculpin IPA last night, I guess I'll have that in lieu of homebrew.

Happy International IPA Day!  4 taps always flowing and they are all IPA's.  The hops listed on the sign are the dry hops.  I brew 10+ gallon batches and separate into 6.5 gallon carboys with different yeasts and dry-hops - it is amazing how much different an IPA can taste with just a few variables!  Long live the hop!

Does IPA really need a day?

I mean all the hop heads and tough guys are going to go all berserk and hop heady regardless so why the designation? is there a national American Amber Ale day? How about a National Saison day?

gotta say, I think breastfeeding awareness is far more deserving of a designated time period than IPA.

Answer me this would any of you NOT had an IPA tonight if it WASN'T NIPAD?

I would not be drinking an IPA tonight if it wasn't NIPAD. But since it is I will be. But unfortunately since I get off work after midnight, I will be a bit late.

There is such an oversaturation of National Whatever Day that it's become amusing. Hell there's National Corndog Day !  So I don't see National IPA Day as some kind of slap in the face to other beer styles.  I just think it's cool that craft beer has worked its way into the trivial "National Days" . Like it or not, IPA is very popular. Having said that though, I buy and brew many different styles. Any number would be deserving.
