Growler exchange
« on: August 01, 2013, 09:57:03 pm »
Seems like the pro forum might be a cool place for those of us brewing professionally to swap growlers with each other or maybe 22oz flip-tops. Any interest?

This place just opened up here in Eugene...http://thegrowlernation.com/ .  There are getting to be a few of them around the state.

These don't have to be 'official' fills. As long as the container has the government alcohol warning and we're not selling them to each other, we're just sending out samples for judge evaluation.

i misunderstood. Thought it was swapping growlers with logos. I can ship 22 oz filled bottles no problem, next time I fill I'll keep it in mind.

Cool idea.
I like it.
But growlers do not like to travel.
This is my personal experience.
I would be afraid to put growler into mail.

22oz bottle then?

We all brew so many different beers and most of the time we don't get to taste each others stuff.

I might could pull a case back and do an exchange on some other as well as pros. I owe a couple folks some beer any way. It's not in bottles yet but planning on getting it out next week.
