Overkill?

I'm such a show off but I thought you guys would appreciate this. Hooked up a loop on my glycol chiller into my 1" port "pre-chiller" for my heat exchanger and dropped the temp of a 10 gallon batch down to 50 degrees in about 25 minutes.

You can see pre-chiller in upper left corner with glycol loop.

 

Note condensation on kettle!

hmmm - 40# of ice ~$7.99 for me to get 10 gal to <50df in about 20 min.

He must be running a NANO size rig. Major large conical!

We have 4 - 20 bbl FVs and 2 - 30 bbls. I don't fill them with my old homebrew kettle! ;)

Wow I guess well beyond nano! Very nice.
I checked out the site - love the variety of brews on tap.
If I'm ever down your way, I'll make sure to check it out.

Major, mine 5 hp pro chiller just puked last Thursday. Not in warranty anymore. It is patched right now.
