I burned a whole piece. Took me about 24 hours, and I broke my sledge in the process.
It burns clean once she gets going however, and I did not let it stop to smoke.
I actually love the smell of coal.
Probably because the only time we burned it was late fall, on the mountain, and it usually came with biscuits gravy eggs and bacon.
How about the aromatherapy of juniper?
Sometimes I ecopunk out and purposely let a nice slab smolder and smoke a bit all day,
but only if I am going to be around the place to enjoy it.
