I saw this and thought I'd share for those who'd like to brew a wet hop beer but aren't growing their own.

I've always been at a loss as to why wet hops sell at a premium compared to the same amount of dry hops.  Depending on the weight (and hopefully if they are getting shipped they let them dry at least a bit).  1 pound of wet hops is equal to somewhere between 2-3.2 oz of dried leaf hops.

I'm fortunate to be close to the valley and just brewed a batch of IPA and IIPA with fresh hops.  If I paid those prices for them I would have spent at least $350 for what I used.

I've met those guys before and I like them but my beef isn't exclusive to them and I'm sure this is just what they have available and people want to pay it.  I just don't get it.

Very cool, thanks for posting.  Wonder how they are shipped?
