Mine is the 10 gallon and it doesn't have a tri clamp holding the lid on.

Yes.  I was referring to the tri clamp holding your blow-off tube.  I think I'm going to have one welded on over the hole in my lid.  Then I can more easily pressurize when kegging.

It did work for that really well. This came with the spot to clamp the barb on but they said to use a #7 stopper and air lock in it. I paid an extra $10 for the clamp and barb for this one. I use it to hook up a blow off tube instead of using an air lock as well as using it to pressurize the conical to push my beer out.
