I'm guessing about $1,500 in hardware in the last year, and avg est $100 per month in gredients
I may have significantly underestimated my actual expenses.  I tried to be honest, but I don't really want to know...

I'm in the same boat.  I made a good guess, but I don't really want to know

Equipment costs vary so much as the hobby progresses.  I have spent very little in the past few years on equipment, but over 20 years it amounts to quite a bit.

Hey, the results of this survey isn't being sent to our wives, right? I may have to get a little conservative with some estimates, then :)

I'm way beyond the range of plausible deniability...I may have to draw up a business plan and turn pro after all!

Am I missing something here?  Shouldn't the question be how much we've saved by brewing our own beer?

I was disappointed that on the question about who helps you brew there was no "brew dog" option.

I wrote in the "Other" category that my dog Rosie helps me brew. :)
