In case you are still looking for ideas, here's what I did with my chest freezer.  I mounted a platform under the freezer with casters to make it easy to move.

Paul

How is the tank secured (maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see a chain or a bungee cord or anything)?

The tank isn't secured.  That's one the things I haven't done yet.  There is a raised edged on the platform so it cannot slip off but not bungee or chain.  I really don't move the freezer very often and usually take the tank off when I do.

Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?

Sheesh.  I thought I was serious about beer.  I feel like a piker after seeing that set up!

I'm heading down to the basement to cry over my two kegs hooked to picnic taps.

Paul,
Is that a gas disconnect just under the RANCO?  That is brilliant!  What kind of hardware did you need to make that connection to the gas post?

Dave

Yes, the connector is just below the Ranco.  It was pretty simple actually.  I don't have the list of parts with me but the most critical are these:

Cornie adapter: http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/adapter-for-corny-plugs-1-4-ffl-x-19-32-18.html
Type B ball lock gas connector: http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/plug-assembly-gas-type-b-all-cornelius-ball-lock.html

Once I found those it was just finding a plumbing nipple that fit the adapter.

Paul

I used the same fittings, although it runs into a cabinet that sits next to the kegerator.  I hide the CO2 tank behind a cabinet door in the cabinet next to the kegerator (between the kegerator and wine fridges):
