Score!
« on: October 30, 2013, 12:36:33 pm »
Organizing my gear and found 24 flip tops of Black IPA and 24 flip tops of Porter I forgot I had. Its been in the spare room closet since bottling last February. I think I hid them to see what aging would do. I'm chilling a few of each now. Wife says meatloaf for supper. That ought to pair nicely!

Also saw my keg of Belgian Double that's been aging since January. Cracked the pressure release and it smells like heaven. Can't wait for my next keg to blow now.

A black IPA with tomorrow's meatloaf sandwich for lunch is the ticket!

I love finding homebrew I thought was gone. Found some Quad (~ 11%abv) last year in a swing top that was probably 2 years old ( read: just right) and it was fantastic. A very good surprise.

Golly! I apparently liked chocolate malt when I brewed this. Good mouth feel, good carbonation, but wicked roasty
