Does KC have many brewpubs?  Seems like theye lag a bit in this respect, but I really haven't researched this lately.  St Louis has gone crazy with brewpubs.

In my opinion they don't seem to have many for a city of that size. The only ones I am aware of are these and Granite City, which in my opinion, doesn't really count.

There's not as many brew pubs as there should be, but I did not notice the article mentioning the 75th St Brewery, which has won a few awards in the past years.  I've heard rumors of some new micro breweries opening in the near future, at least one of which was not mentioned in the article either - so hopefully the rumors are true and we'll get more soon.
