threaded hose barb
« on: November 21, 2013, 01:09:11 am »
Does anyone know where I can find a hose barb with the opposite end threaded to fit into the faucet end of a shank?  Or what size those threads are?  I want to be able to remove the faucet and back flush the lines.  Thanks!

In retrospect it seems silly that I couldn't figure it out myself, but I couldn't think of what to call it for some reason. :)

I found these, they're a bit cheaper plus the second one will let me clean multiple lines at once.

Maybe you were looking for too technical of a term.  :)
I’m glad you looked more into it. I only found it while I was looking at the big bubbler. I actually need one myself for a hand pump I got with some stuff I bought from craigslist.  Hoping my lhbs has it but keep forgetting to check.

Well it's not exactly a "faucet cleaning attachment", is it?  You've got to take the faucet off and clean it separately, this cleans the shank and the lines. :)

I didn't get to it yesterday, I'm going to order them now.
